Dean is passionate about cultivating a strategic ecosystem to advance both RSM US and the clients of the Professional Services+ (PS+) community through mutual growth and success. He leads a cross-functional team that provides professional service firms in accounting, consulting, law and other professions access to a wide range of services, leading tools and tailored solutions to accelerate their growth. PS+ clients may participate in the PS+ Collaborative. This value-added client benefit facilitates peer-to-peer engagement around the unique and evolving needs of their organizations, clients and people through annual conferences, peer groups, workshops, roundtables and other interactions.
Dean demonstrates the firm’s five key characteristics (the 5 C’s)—caring, curious, collaborative, courageous and critical thinking—of being a first-choice advisor and fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for our people and clients.
Serving as a performance coach and empowering clients to collaborate more effectively with like-minded professional service providers, Dean helps ensure optimal service delivery to our clients. He also provides business advisory and strategic planning services.
Dean has been with RSM since 1997 and has served as the national leader of the former RSM Alliance, an affiliation of independent professional services firms in the United States, Canada, the Cayman Islands and Puerto Rico, since 2002. Prior to that, he was a tax professional specializing in professional service firms.
Dean resides in Minneapolis with his wife, Jodi, and their two children, Blake and Ella. He enjoys golfing, boating, spending time with family, and generally being outdoors.
