The ultimate client experience

The RSM Classic is an all-encompassing experience tailored to our clients and guests.

Each November during The RSM Classic, RSM professionals, clients and friends enjoy the splendor and southern hospitality of Georgia’s Golden Isles while building unforgettable memories and relationships. From the five-star accommodations at Sea Island Resort to engaging in daytime activities and entertaining evenings to influential charity events, the week provides the ultimate experience for each and every one of our guests.

Our RSM Classic guests can spend the superb, coastal days participating in golf outings, clay target shooting, walking the breathtaking Seaside and Plantation courses or socializing and watching the official PGA TOUR tournament from our comfortable chalet on the 18th green. While in the Golden Isles, our guests can also enjoy exploring the Sea Island Resort grounds and spa, the charming local restaurants and shops, and participating in other resort activities like horseback riding and fishing.

The experience doesn’t stop when tournament play on the course concludes. The evening receptions combine valuable networking with tasty southern cuisine, cocktails and entertainment. Members of Team RSM enjoy conversing with guests and sharing entertaining stories from their experiences on the PGA TOUR. A crowd favorite event is a draw party for one of the two Pro-Am tournaments hosted by Davis and Robin Love.

Most importantly, the many charity events throughout the week make this tournament a meaningful tradition and touching experience to be a part of, an impact that transcends into all of our communities. These include the charity putting tournament, the Wiffle Ball Classic and other philanthropic events throughout the week.

The RSM Classic experience details our caring relationships with our people and clients, making it an important week for our firm. It is an incredible opportunity for our guests to network with RSM owners and leaders as well as our industry professionals and guests. We look forward to spending quality time with our clients, prospects and friends, so we can better serve them as their first-choice advisors.

Additionally, each year we strive to have more of our people take part in this unforgettable experience. Our honorary observer program provides opportunities for various employees from all lines of business to attend The RSM Classic and interact with guests and leaders, and to enhance their career development. Our Power of Love  program also provides employees the chance to attend The RSM Classic as representatives of the firm's fundraising achievements.

More than a golf tournament

The RSM Classic is a beloved tradition for our firm and its impact extends far beyond the fairways.

Making our communities stronger

The impact of The RSM Classic is beyond measure and will be felt for generations to come. Centered on our core value of stewardship, giving back to the community plays an integral role in the tournament’s tradition.

Since its inception, The RSM Classic has raised over $42 million for organizations across the globe. The tournament’s compassion has created a platform for RSM employees in the United States, Canada, India and El Salvador to engage with their communities to make a positive change.

Giving back to the community

The RSM Classic hosts several opportunities each year for PGA TOUR players and local non-profits to come together. This includes the annual Wiffle Ball Classic, Charity Putting Challenge and RSM Birdies Fore Love on-course competition.

Power of Love

Making an impact in the communities where we live and work is one of RSM’s greatest triumphs. Through Power of Love, our caring professionals go above and beyond to support children and families across the nation.

RSM Birdies Fore Love on-course competition

Expect to see more birdies made on the golf course and more charities helped across the nation. RSM’s Birdies Fore Love Charity Competition brings PGA TOUR players into our charitable giving efforts while adding some competitive fun.

The on-course competition is an expansion of RSM’s Power of Love program and a contest to see which PGA TOUR players can accumulate the most birdies (or better). Weekly winners throughout the FedExCup Fall are awarded $50,000 to donate to a charity of their choice. In addition to weekly winners, the top player who accumulates the most birdies (or better) throughout those events will earn $300,000 for children- or family-focused charitable organizations of the player’s choice.

Aside from the added excitement and fun the competition brings, the resulting impact to communities across the country from the winning charitable donations makes RSM’s Birdies Fore Love Charity Competition a meaningful event. When choosing their charity, we encourage the winning players to designate the funds to organizations dedicated to building tomorrow’s middle market leaders through programs that support education, as well as are committed to improving the lives of youth through a focus on hunger, housing and health. We proudly sponsor PGA TOUR players Zach Johnson, Davis Love III, Chris Kirk, and Kyle Westmoreland; LPGA players Maria Fassi and Megan Khang; European Tour player Hinrich Arkenau; and Ladies European Tour player Alice Hewson.

From cheering them on to conversing with them during client events and office visits, we are pleased to call them our teammates and valued members of our RSM family.
