Brian has set forth a bold strategy for RSM’s compelling, digital and global future. During his tenure, RSM has evolved its structure to optimize client service delivery, implemented a new digital infrastructure to drive the business, joined forces with RSM UK, and committed to invest $1B in AI and digital core by 2027. RSM is now positioned as a multinational platform built to scale to $10B.
Prior to becoming CEO, Brian served as RSM’s consulting leader, where he tripled the size of the practice in five years by harnessing the full power of RSM’s technical and industry expertise. He also held numerous other national and regional leadership roles at RSM, and he served as a member of the RSM US LLP Board of Directors from 2011 to 2015.
Among his many accolades, Brian has been recognized by Accounting Today Magazine as one of its top 100 most influential people in accounting and by Consulting Magazine as one of the top 25 consultants for excellence in technology. He also earned RSM's highest honor—Partner of the Year—in recognition of his efforts to build the firm's consulting practice.
Brian is known for helping clients integrate human insights and digital solutions by aligning strategy, people, processes and technology. With an industry specialty in financial institutions, he has deep experience advising banks and other financial institutions on using technology to automate and transform their business. He has led more than 500 engagements for the firm around technology and strategic digital transformation.
Brian appreciates the opportunity RSM provides to make a difference for clients, colleagues and communities. Outside of RSM, he and his wife are working to develop a nonprofit foundation to support chronically ill young people as they transition from pediatric care to the adult system of medical care—a journey he has traveled with his daughter.
When he’s not leading RSM, Brian can be found wake surfing or golfing.
