Going out on a limb: Canada’s First-Ever Global Circumnavigation by Helicopter

NEWS RELEASE  |

TORONTO, ON – Our firm is pleased to announce our support of the C150 Global Odyssey (C150GO). With a passion for aviation, adventure and their home country, Canada, the two risk takers and father-son team Bob and Steven Dengler set out with C150GO as the world’s first Canadian around-the-world helicopter flight, and the first ever father-son global circumnavigation. In celebration of Canada’s 150th Anniversary, C150GO will support and raise funds for both the Southlake Regional Health Centre Foundation and True Patriot Love Foundation.

We are excited to extend the opportunity to join the C150 Global Odyssey as a virtual crew member by sponsoring their journey here. All sponsors will be announced during the various legs of the flight.  If you are interested in being a corporate sponsor of their flight, please contact us and we will point you in the right direction.

“We judge ourselves by the company we keep. To us, this means that we create partnerships with our clients. We are very proud to support Bob and Steven’s adventure, follow their journey and allow our clients the opportunity to experience something they can’t get elsewhere,” says Michael Allen, partner and member of the firm’s Management Committee.

The Canadian crew will fly a Canadian-made Bell 429 Global Ranger helicopter over 37,000 km in just over one month. Starting in Ottawa on July 1, 2017 and zigzagging the globe, the crew will visit more than 100 airports in 14 countries as they travel the world.  Follow us at #C150crew.

About C150GO

The C150 Global Odyssey starts in Canada and moves east before navigating the open ocean, foraying into Europe and Russia, and then returning to Canadian soil. Along the way, C150GO will stop at several Canadian military bases while also visiting several national and international Canadian landmarks. C150GO is a registered Canadian not-for-profit organization developed to support and raise funds for both the Southlake Regional Health Centre Foundation and True Patriot Love Foundation.  All donations and funds raised throughout the journey will benefit the causes and programs that Southlake and True Patriot Love support.
