RSM Canada Raises Over $200,000 Through Annual Charitable Giving Campaign

TORONTO, ON – (December 17, 2024) – RSM Canada (“RSM”) - a leading global provider of assurance, tax and consulting services - is proud to share that our Canada team raised over $200,000 in RSM’s 2024 Power of Love charitable giving campaign.

In Canada, RSM focuses its charitable giving towards organizations and opportunities that enhance educational outcomes and the quality of life for children and families in the communities where its employees live and work.

RSM’s 2024 fundraising goal was achieved through several employee events, along with external donor contributions. Here are the charitable organizations that will benefit from RSM’s 2024 fundraising campaign:

CALGARY:

• Lil E Coffee Café is a non-profit, charitable organization dedicated to providing life skills and opportunities to individuals with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities. It creates meaningful and productive employment opportunities for these individuals, while also raising important awareness within the local community.

EDMONTON:

• Kids Kottage has offered crisis prevention and early intervention services in Edmonton and areas dedicated to ensuring the safety of infants and children while supporting the resilience of families since 1995. It provides a 24-hour crisis line, overnight frontline crisis shelter for children ages 0-10 years old and a variety of follow up and support programs for families in need.

RED DEER:

• The Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Red Deer and District organization came to the Red Deer & District region in 1976 and has been at work in this community ever since. Several programs and services are available to young people and their families, including in-school mentoring. It also provides activities for wait-list child/youth, those who haven’t been matched just yet and are waiting to meet their new Big friend.

TORONTO AND KITCHENER:

• BCG Peel Club has been changing lives of children, youth and families across Mississauga, Brampton and Caledon since 1983. As a not-for-profit charitable organization, its purpose and impact over the past 41 years has been and continues to be a positive service provider and partner for the 40,000 members it has served during this time. 

VANCOUVER:

• BC Children’s Hospital Foundation is the only hospital in the province devoted exclusively to the care of children. As one of the few pediatric medical centres in North America with a world-class acute care centre, research institute, mental health facility and soon, rehabilitation centre, all on a single campus, BC Children’s provides specialized care, innovative therapies and expertise for BC’s kids, including the sickest and most seriously injured.
