Toronto, April 15, 2021 - The Ontario Superior Court of Justice (Commercial List) issued an Order dated April 15, 2021 (the “Appointment Order”), appointing RSM Canada Limited as receiver (the “Receiver”) without security, over the lands and premises known municipally as 134, 148, 152, 184/188, 214, 224 and 226 Harwood Avenue South, Ajax, Ontario, owned by 9617680 Canada Inc., 9654372 Canada Inc., Central Park Ajax Developments Phase 1 Inc., 9654488 Canada Inc., 9654461 Canada Inc. and 9654445 Canada Inc. (collectively the “Debtors”).
Toronto, April 26, 2021 - On April 26, 2021, the Debtors filed a Notice of Appeal (the “Appeal”) in respect of the Receivership Order, which resulted in a stay of the receivership proceedings pending the outcome of the Appeal.
Toronto, February 25, 2022 - On February 25, 2022, prior to the hearing of the Appeal, the Debtors withdrew the Appeal, resulting in the Receivership Order once again having effect.
A copy of the Appointment Order is posted below, and other pertinent public information will be posted to this website as that information becomes available.
