He is the enterprise audit leader for RSM’s lending capability, focusing on serving banks, fintechs and specialty lenders. Over his career in RSM’s Austin and Dallas offices, he has served a variety of financial service companies at all stages of the life cycle—from early-stage to complex SEC registrants—with an emphasis on audits under PCAOB and AICPA standards and audits of internal control under Sarbanes-Oxley Act 404(b) and FDICIA.
Zac brings extensive experience in capital markets transactions including initial public offerings, secondary debt and equity offerings; complex transactions including business combinations, SPAC transactions, securitizations and other financing transactions; and risk assessment, internal controls and information technology general controls—all in highly regulated environments.
In his lending capability leadership role, Zac guides strategy, operations, audit quality, growth and the client experience for RSM’s lending capability. He partners with engagement teams to apply industry insight, data‑driven risk assessment and disciplined execution—helping clients and stakeholders move forward with confidence and deliver on RSM’s client experience excellence expectations.
Zac also serves as the SEC leader for RSM’s financial markets service line, where he helps shape SEC strategy and execution for the sector, aligning talent to opportunities, supporting partner progression and integration, and acting as a single point of contact for SEC pursuits in coordination with market and industry leaders.
