Thomas Burtner is a consulting services partner with the business applications practice at RSM US LLP. He specializes in providing technology strategy, system selection, packaged software implementation, application development, business intelligence implementation, systems integration and technology project management services to clients throughout RSM. Tom is the national leader for the Dynamics GP/SL practice which consists of over 30 consultants supporting over 800 existing clients.

Thomas Burtner received a master's degree in management of information technology, and has spent his career combining his accounting background with his extensive systems knowledge. Tom helps RSM US LLP clients implement new business systems by providing system design, data conversion, training, report development and customizations. He also focuses on exploring client business processes and procedures, assisting in identifying their needs, and designing systems to meet those needs. Tom began his career with Coopers & Lybrand as a staff accountant.
