About

Stuart (Stu) Taub is the national real estate industry leader for RSM US LLP, where he sets the real estate strategy for North America. He is a member of the markets advisory team and market leader for the tri-state market, overseeing growth and talent development in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. Our market leaders will focus on bringing the full power of our firm to our clients, sustaining our unrivaled culture and supporting growth aligned with our strategic priorities.


Experience

Stu has more than 25 years of experience with RSM and specializes in helping companies go public. He has advised real estate investment trusts, real estate private equity, and advisors, developers, owners, and investors in properties such as retail, industrial, commercial, residential, hospitality, senior housing and manufactured home properties.

Stu derives his energy from supporting both clients and colleagues to help them grow and succeed. He has served clients of every asset class and organizational structure, including startups, multinational Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting companies, private equity and closely held businesses.

A former member of the board of directors at RSM, Stu has previously served as Northeast market leader, Northeast regional real estate industry leader, Northeast region assurance leader, and New York assurance practice leader, among other leadership roles. His passion for real estate is second only to his desire to see talented colleagues at RSM grow personally and professionally while living out the firm's values.

Internally at RSM, Stu is the executive sponsor for the Tri-state Interfaith employee network group and is actively engaged in many other groups. An avid baseball fan, Stu cherishes his collection of pins made by his wife, who is his high school sweetheart, commemorating their trips to watch every major league baseball team play at their home stadium.  

Stu is an conscientious leader who knows that when he doesn’t have the answer, he will always find the person who does. His goal is to leave each client—and the firm—better than he found it.
