About Rachel

Rachel Rabinowitz is an assurance partner at RSM US LLP, offering financial audit and review services to middle market clients across various industries. Based in the firm’s New York office, Rachel brings unparalleled capabilities to her role, particularly as a life sciences audit policy leader. Her qualifications include a deep understanding of biopharma, gross-to-net revenue, and commercialized pharma within the industry. Drawing on her experience working with clients registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission, she has provided invaluable support during public offerings and IPOs.


Proficient in all phases of financial and operational audit engagements, Rachel is responsible for reviewing clients' internal controls and accounting policies and recommending improvements, evaluating the accounting of complex and significant transactions, and delivering complete and timely financial statements. Recognized as a hands-on partner, she consistently delivers high-quality client service through open communication and accessibility.

Rachel strives to serve clients and nurture talent effectively. She prioritizes improving audit quality and efficiency by providing thought leadership, developing internal and external training programs, and updating policies and manuals to ensure engagement teams can navigate evolving firm guidance and standards seamlessly. Rachel plays a crucial role in developing the firm’s internal Life Sciences Audit Year-End Alert. Moreover, she collaborates across lines of business to support non-assurance clients and teams, enhancing the firm's ability to serve all clients comprehensively.

Rachel finds immense fulfillment in developing deep industry ability and supporting the growth of businesses across lines of operation as an audit policy leader. She is dedicated to nurturing talent and providing on-the-job training and shares her technical knowledge and experience to empower others. Rachel is genuinely invested in understanding her clients' businesses, concerns, and aspirations, and builds robust relationships in which she gets to know her clients on a personal level.

As part of her commitment to RSM, Rachel sits on the steering committee of STAR, the firm’s employee network group (ENG) that advocates for women’s leadership in the workplace.
