Patrick Meadors is passionate about helping organizations reduce risk and unlock efficiency by modernizing how tax operates within their broader finance and technology ecosystems. Patrick has more than a decade of experience spanning sales and use tax audit, indirect tax management, accounting leadership and tax automation delivery. He currently serves as the leader for RSM’s Central, Great Lakes and West transaction tax automation practice, advising middle market and Fortune 1500 companies across industries such as technology, media and telecommunications, consumer products, industrials, and renewable energy.
His work focuses on sales and use tax, gross receipts, excise and value‑added tax processes, with deep experience serving as project lead for tax technology implementations. Patrick regularly works with clients to assess current‑state environments; identify process and system improvement opportunities; and guide solution selection, configuration, integration and deployment.
Patrick has led implementations of leading indirect tax technologies, including Avalara AvaTax, Thomson Reuters OneSource Determination and Vertex solutions (Q Series, O Series and Classic Cloud). His ERP and systems experience includes Oracle NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics (D365, GP and AX), QuickBooks, Sage, Stripe, ServiceTitan and custom or legacy billing and payables platforms. He brings a collaborative, delivery‑focused approach that helps clients achieve timely adoption while supporting long‑term scalability.
