Nicole Turnipseed Durkin is a partner in the National Professional Standards Group at RSM US LLP and a national director of the Audit Incident Response Team, with more than 25 years of experience in risk mitigation and forensic accounting. She leads the development of firmwide assurance resources on fraud, noncompliance and other significant risk matters. As the leader of RSM’s Pride employee network group (ENG), Nicole focuses on fostering a welcoming environment for all employees, encouraging authenticity and vulnerability.

Nicole has served as an active leader in the Pride ENG and other RSM ENGs. She received a Flavio Castillo Excellence Award from RSM’s ¡HOLA! ENG, which focuses on building a strong community of belonging for its members and fosters leadership development and career advancement. Nicole also supports inclusion through formal and informal mentoring of professionals. Beyond the firm, she engages in community efforts and has contributed through speaking and outreach, including as a multicultural commencement keynote speaker at Saint Mary’s College in Indiana and through participation in the Center for Audit Quality’s high school accounting outreach program.
