Michael provides Canadian tax advisory solutions to domestic and international clients of all sizes. He provides timely tax advice to clients navigating complex cross-border transactions while staying ahead of the various changes to the domestic and international tax landscapes. Michael is a trusted technical resource for complex cross-border M&A transactions, corporate reorganizations and refinancing transactions. He supports various industry groups at RSM and routinely gets involved with a wide variety of clients in these groups, including private equity funds, public and private companies, and owner-manager businesses.
Prior to joining RSM Canada in 2019, Michael practiced M&A tax and international tax for more than 13 years at a Big Four firm in Toronto. Michael has also participated as a tutor both at the CPA Canada In-depth Tax Program, and at the Law Society of Upper Canada's bar admissions course. He has also presented at the Tax Executives Institute.
Originally from Montreal, Michael is fluent in English and French.
