Kevin Kopanon serves as the private equity leader at RSM US LLP, responsible for advancing the firm’s long-term growth strategy within the private equity channel. He also serves as the Boston market leader, guiding the market strategy and performance in Boston. He is a seasoned enterprise leader who continues to serve several of the firm’s largest and most complex clients across the private equity and technology, media and telecommunications sectors.
In his current leadership roles, Kevin focuses on driving growth and strengthening client relationships within the private equity channel on a firmwide level while leading the Boston market. He works closely with firm leadership and clients to address complex business challenges and deliver strategic outcomes.
Kevin is motivated by building high-performing teams and helping organizations scale and grow in dynamic environments. He brings a practical, results-oriented approach shaped by deep experience across advisory and executive leadership roles.
Prior to joining RSM, Kevin served as CEO, executive and founder of several vertical software and SaaS companies. He has extensive experience in the technology and media industries, working across consumer- and business-focused enterprises. This background provides him with a strong understanding of growth, innovation and operational execution.
Kevin is actively engaged in his community, serving in leadership roles across civic and charitable organizations in the Greater Boston area and supporting initiatives through the RSM Boston Foundation.
