Karen Galivan has more than 25 years of experience delivering tax consulting services to clients. She has served midsize businesses and closely held corporations in the consumer, industrial and private equity industries. She specializes in providing tax and accounting services to clients, as well as being a mentor to fellow strategists. Karen serves as a member of RSM US LLP Board of Directors and a board member of RSM’s transatlantic partnership.
Karen was selected as a senior analyst in RSM’s cutting-edge Industry Eminence Program, a top-tier program that positions senior analysts to forecast and communicate economic, business and technology trends serving and shaping industries. She currently serves as the national consumer products tax lead.
As a champion for her clients’ success, Karen offers methodologies to help them navigate federal, state and foreign tax compliance. Well-versed in leading with influence, she supports middle market leaders with tax planning, corporate restructuring, fixed asset studies and tax representation.
Karen is a member of the board of directors for Junior Achievement of Chicago.
