Kara Lindsey is a talent acquisition manager for RSM US LLP, focused on recruiting for the audit line of business with additional experience in tax, internal client services and consulting. During her almost eight years at the firm, much of her focus has been on sourcing, screening and tracking qualified candidates while overseeing virtually every step in the recruiting process, from interviewing to making an offer. She also focuses on executing sourcing strategies to produce a diverse pool of candidates. Kara is the national leader of the firm’s Interfaith employee network group (ENG), which provides an active forum for people of various faiths to collaborate and expand understanding among members and support each other in faith-related activities, business initiatives and community service.

Kara has more than 20 years of recruiting experience. Before joining RSM, she focused on volume recruiting for sales and customer service at a national insurance provider for two-and-a-half years. She also spent four years recruiting for an international product fulfillment company and 10 years at a global rental car agency, where she was a recruiting supervisor and served in the management training program. 

Kara has been nominated multiple times for RSM’s First-Choice Advisor Award. This award recognizes and rewards individuals who have made a significant contribution as a first-choice advisor to clients or our people in a given year. She has also helped lead a sourcing task force for talent acquisition at the firm and is involved in the STAR Success Series. This series is one of RSM’s signature programs that allows female leaders to develop their skills alongside other driven and high-performing female peers. As a woman of faith, Kara has been a mentor for Women of Hope, is a member of her praise team at Altoona United Methodist Church, and helps lead special events for the women of her church.
