Daniel Gabriel leads RSM’s North American Cyber Risk and Data Protection (CYBER) practice, partnering with C-suite leaders and boards to help organizations address cyber risk, support growth objectives and deliver measurable business outcomes. His work focuses on translating complex cybersecurity, privacy and technology risk challenges into clear, actionable decisions aligned to enterprise strategy.
At RSM, Daniel leads an integrated global team delivering a full spectrum of cybersecurity, privacy and risk services—from cyber strategy and governance to cloud security, identity and operational resilience. The team supports organizations in securely navigating the impact of artificial intelligence on their workforce and managing the risks associated with becoming truly digital organizations.
Daniel and his team’s approach is to listen first, meet clients where they are and focus on outcomes that matter most to their business. The goal of RSM CYBER services is to drive meaningful impact by helping organizations build security programs that are scalable, defensible and value-generating, not simply compliant.
In addition to his firm leadership role, Daniel co-chairs RSM’s Global Cybersecurity Council, helping to define the global cyber operating model, standardize service delivery and support consistent, seamless execution across geographies—a critical requirement for multinational and private equity (PE)-backed organizations.
When working with C-suite leaders and boards, Daniel helps drive clarity around material cyber risk, investment prioritization and operational readiness, particularly in high-growth, global mergers and acquisitions and transformation scenarios. He brings more than 25 years of experience across cybersecurity, technology and management consulting, including 18 years in leadership roles within a Big Four global cyber practice serving Fortune 10 companies and complex public-sector organizations.
Daniel is energized every day by working directly with senior leaders and boards, helping them cut through the noise, focus on what truly matters and make confident decisions in an increasingly complex cyber landscape.
