In his role as national franchise leader, Chris provides insights to the marketplace about issues and trends affecting franchisors and franchisees. He works with client service teams across the country to successfully serve a growing number of middle market franchises by providing insight into the critical issues affecting the marketplace. He is also on RSM’s national restaurant team, where he helps execute the firm’s industry-focused, go-to-market strategy to meet client needs. As audit partner, he helps clients plan and manage strategies for audit services and due diligence related to mergers and acquisitions.
Chris joined the restaurant industry practice in 2013 and is passionate about serving the needs of restaurateurs and retail operators. His strength is getting to know clients, learning about their business and helping them through the audit process. His background and experience serving middle market franchises has prepared him for guiding his team to deliver the power of being understood to every client.
Born and raised in Iowa, Chris served in RSM’s Cedar Rapids office before moving with his wife and two sons to Dallas in 2012. He played baseball and golf at the University of Dubuque before transferring to the University of Northern Iowa, his alma mater.
