Carol leads the consumer products industry practice as well as the consumer goods sector for RSM. She has spent nearly her entire career following her passion for fashion, beauty and retail by working in the industry she loves. As industry leader, she is responsible for growing the consumer products practice and community at the firm. She helps client service teams by sharing industry knowledge and sector expertise to develop the next generation of consumer products leaders. Carol views RSM’s go-to-market by industry strategy as a game changer for the firm and for industry leaders who are deeply knowledgeable in their area of expertise. She is motivated by the continued success of the firm and the opportunities for personal and professional growth that RSM provides.
Carol has spent her career focused on building a deep understanding of the industry so that she can provide clients with insights and advice specific to the challenges and opportunities consumer products companies face. Her success can be seen in her rise to become the first woman promoted to partner at her previous firm, which eventually merged with RSM. Carol recognizes that her longevity at RSM is unique, having spent her entire career with RSM and its predecessor firm.
The mother of two adult children, Carol understands the issues women face in work/life integration. She is part of the firm’s STAR employee network group to advocate for women in leadership roles. She has been a speaker at STAR events and a mentor to women at the firm.
Outside of work, Carol is a proud board member of Delivering Good, a nonprofit that helps children and families affected by poverty and tragedy rebuild their lives through donations of new apparel and other merchandise from retailers and manufacturers.
