About Brad

Brad Collins is principal and leader of the Center for Advanced Tax Technology at RSM US LLP. A licensed attorney with more than 20 years of experience in public accounting, Brad is focused on driving innovation and digitization at RSM to accelerate the firm’s leadership in tax technology solutions for the middle market.

As head of CATT—the innovative cross-functional group that operates as a nimble technology startup within RSM—Brad leads a high-performing team of tax technologists in the United States, Canada and India to significantly accelerate how the firm develops and delivers client-centric tax systems and data insights. He brings a breadth of knowledge in technology, product innovation, and robust client-centric development and operations to his role, helping align the firm’s tax technology vision with the business strategy.

A lifelong learner with an insatiable intellectual curiosity, Brad uses his creative problem-solving skills to find solutions to clients’ biggest issues. He is passionate about efficiency and has helped RSM accelerate its digital transformation of its cloud-based tiering and allocation platform, PartnerSight®, to help clients better understand their own tax data.

Prior to his current role, Brad was RSM’s national tax technology consulting leader working with financial services and family office clients on their digital transformation. Before joining RSM, Brad served as technology partner to several high-profile clients while leading 100-plus professionals over four vital and distinct technology verticals focused on driving innovation and digitization in another global firm.

Brad takes a global perspective on life, having lived for several years with his wife in India as ex-pats. Many years ago, he followed a childhood dream to become an auctioneer and now serves as an emcee at charitable events. His wife, with whom he was featured on the HGTV show “Restored with the Fords,” is also at RSM and became partner in 2021, making them one of the few husband and wife partner duos in the firm’s history.
