RSM Canada Promotes Four New Partners in Calgary and Toronto offices

RSM Canada (“RSM”) – the nation’s leading provider of audit, tax and consulting services focused on the middle market – is pleased to announce the promotions of four new partners in its Calgary and Toronto offices: Ron Browning, Ved Aswani, Michael Bancroft and Sean McNama.

Ron Browning has been promoted to partner in RSM’s consulting practice. Located out of the Calgary office, Ron has more than 17 years of experience helping clients realize success with Enterprise Service Management (ESM), organization transformation, automation and optimization, advising several large organizations in the telecom, utilities, oil and gas and higher education sectors.

Ved Aswani has been promoted to tax practice partner in the Calgary office. With an expertise in international tax, Ved has more than 10 years of experience helping multi-national businesses minimize taxes, stay compliant and reduce tax exposure. He has helped RSM clients successfully navigate complex cross-border issues, including global compliance services through foreign tax reporting, U.S.-Canada treaty analysis, foreign tax credit utilization and withholding tax management.

Michael Bancroft has also been promoted to tax practice partner. Working out of the Toronto office and specializing in business tax, Michael brings a combination of practical experience and tax acumen from across multiple tax practice areas and partners, helping mitigate risk and optimize core tax function for RSM clients. He is currently the Tax Process & Technology regional champion for the Canada region.  

Sean McNama has been promoted to partner in RSM’s global transfer pricing practice. A director with the firm since 2017, Sean works out of the Toronto office, assisting organizations with transfer pricing advisory, planning, audit, dispute resolution and general compliance assistance. Bringing in-depth insights from a range of industries, he is renowned for providing his clients with unique solutions catered to their specific needs.
