Bad Assets rock for charity

Toronto, ON – Our firm is pleased to announce our participation in the League of Rock together with two other mid-market accounting firms. In this music-based team-building event, the firms, that would otherwise compete in the market, are coming together to raise money for a charitable cause. Following a rigorous 12-week coaching program, the firm’s band, “Bad Assets”, will join the Rock the Block – Benefit Concert  on November 13, 2017.

With an entrepreneurial mindset at the firm’s core, the firm has committed to donating the proceeds from this event to Junior Achievement Central Ontario. Dedicated to mentoring Canada’s future entrepreneurs, Junior Achievement delivers experiential classroom learning and other programs to students between grades 4-12.

“The League of Rock is a terrific opportunity to build a team that has never – in this form – worked together! We are so proud to see the “Bad Assets” stand their ground against the other talented bands of our mid-market colleagues. As well, the program allows us to give back to Junior Achievement, an organization very near and dear to us. We truly believe that fostering entrepreneurship in the young and bright Canadian youth will allow them to fully explore their potential and succeed,” says Terri Ellis, partner.
