TORONTO, ON – (Nov. 9, 2023) – RSM Canada LLP (“RSM”) – a leading global provider of assurance, tax and consulting services – is pleased to announce Neil Chander has joined the firm as an international tax partner in its Toronto office.
A highly experienced international tax expert with over 25 years of building, leading, and growing tax functions of large multinational organizations, Neil is adept at implementing strategic initiatives to drive operational efficiency and innovation.

Most recently, Neil served as a senior vice-president, global taxation, at a large real estate asset and property manager and developer with significant operations in U.S., Europe, Australasia, and Canada. He was responsible for developing and managing the organization’s global tax function, including tax compliance and provisions, structuring, due diligence, planning and advisory. Neil also has broad expertise in structuring and maintaining funds and public and private real estate investment trusts (REITs) in Canada, the US, and internationally.
Neil holds a Bachelor of Mathematics and a Master of Accountancy from the University of Waterloo, is a CPA in both Canada and the US (Illinois), and holds his US CGMA credentials. He is also a board member of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Toronto.
