RSM Canada strengthens tax leadership team with new partner

RSM Canada – the leading global provider of audit, tax and consulting services focused on the middle market – is pleased to announce Sam Tabrizi as its newest tax partner in its Toronto office.

Sam brings a strong financial background to RSM Canada’s leading tax team. With more than 12 years of experience handling key taxation portfolios, including specialized roles focused on personal, corporate and real estate tax, Sam provides his clients with tactical solutions to address their business needs.

In his new role with the firm, Sam will serve as Toronto private client services tax leader. His role will focus on owner-managed businesses, high net worth individuals and family offices to provide an expanded service offering and seamless experience to these clients.

In his recent roles at accounting, tax and business consulting firms, Sam has served as a trusted advisor to private companies on a broad range of tax matters including estate planning, complex tax structuring, tax compliance and transaction tax advisory.

An active member of the Toronto tax community, Sam maintains membership with the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada and since 2016 has been a tutorial facilitator for the CPA Canada In-depth Tax Program.

Sam is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) with a Bachelor of Science in computer science from the University of Toronto, and a Master of Management & Professional Accounting from the Rotman School of Management (University of Toronto).
