RSM Canada – the leading global provider of audit, tax and consulting services focused on the middle market, today announced that Michael Charette has joined the firm as a tax partner in the Toronto office. Michael will lead corporate tax and technology services, a new addition to RSM Canada’s tax specialty services.
Michael brings a strong background in tax technology and transformation to RSM Canada’s leading tax team. With 15 years of experience as a professional technologist and data analyst, including 10 years focused on tax service delivery and operations, Michael provides his clients with strategic, data-driven solutions to their business challenges.

Prior to joining RSM Canada, Michael worked at another large professional services firm in corporate tax and technology, where he supported clients in the modernization of their financial and tax processes and staff digital enablement. As a technology enthusiast, Michael has broad expertise in a variety of tax applications and data tools, which he utilized in his previous roles in designing and implementing effective tax process improvements.
Michael is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CMA) with a Bachelor of Science and Business from the University of Waterloo. He has also completed Part I & II of the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Program and his Professional Project Management
