RSM Canada announces partner promotions

RSM Canada (“RSM”) – the leading global provider of audit, tax and consulting services focused on the middle market –today announced the promotion of three key individuals to partner, all located in RSM’s Toronto office.

Rob Dew has been promoted to partner in the indirect tax practice. Rob focuses on Canadian sales tax issues where he advises on complex tax issues, consults on corporate reorganizations and supports clients as they navigate government sales tax audits. He is also responsible for expanding the tax recovery and reclamation service offering, both in Canada and throughout the RSM global network.  With his years of experience and exposure to a wide range of business segments, Rob’s broad sales tax knowledge allows him to assist clients with any of their Canadian sales tax needs.

Marino Jeyarajah has been promoted to partner in the tax practice as well. Marino’s work focuses on domestic and international tax across a wide range of businesses, from small private companies to large multinational corporations. He provides tax advice on acquisitions, mergers, succession planning and various Canadian and international restructuring engagements. He also services various clients in the real estate space, including land and residential developers, commercial developers and commercial property managers.

Alex Kotsopoulos has been promoted to partner in the consulting practice. Alex leads RSM Canada’s projects and economics practice. As a professional economist, he advises companies, governments, regulators and national and international institutions on a broad range of economic topics, to help them assess, evaluate and prioritize investments, initiatives and strategies. Alex helps companies and public sector organizations make large-scale strategic decisions on a more fully informed basis, utilizing a highly analytical and data driven approach.
