RSM announces two key hires and launches Canada National Tax Office

RSM Canada (“RSM”) – the leading global provider of audit, tax and consulting services focused on the middle market – has announced the addition of two tax partners to its Toronto and Calgary offices as part of its strategy to further expand specialty tax services across Canada.

In the Toronto office, Clara Pham joins RSM as a tax partner and will lead the firm’s new Canada National Tax (CNT) office. Launching a Canada National Tax office is an important addition to the firm’s overall Canadian tax practice and is an integral part of RSM’s commitment to delivering exceptional tax service offerings and ideas to its clients. The CNT will work collaboratively with RSM’s Washington National Tax office in the U.S., with a specific focus on the Canadian landscape and regulatory environment. Clara brings RSM’s clients a breadth of expertise in domestic and international income tax and provides perspective on enhancing the client experience from her extensive experience in industry.

David Crawford brings 22 years of indirect tax experience to RSM Canada’s Calgary office, where he will lead RSM’s indirect tax practice for the Alberta corridor. David brings valuable experience and relationships in the oil and gas industry, having worked with large, complex national and international energy and oilfield services organizations. In his previous roles, he focused on providing indirect tax advisory services, including advising clients on inbound investments into Canada as well as indirect tax controversy.
