RSM Canada (“RSM”) – the leading global provider of audit, tax and consulting services focused on the middle market – has announced that Karen Brault, accounting services director in RSM’s Red Deer office, has been selected as the Accountant Partner of the Year at the Canadian Sage Circle of Excellence Accounting Awards.
The Sage Circle of Excellence Accounting Awards on June 26, 2019 celebrated accountants and bookkeepers who make positive impacts on their clients, communities or the accounting profession.
As Sage’s Accountant Partner of the Year winner, Brault is recognized for her hard work and dedication to her practice. Brault joined RSM’s Red Deer office more than 30 years ago. While her career began primarily in bookkeeping, she evolved her practice over time to focus on advising clients on how software and cloud-based solutions, like those provided by Sage, can support their business needs. Today she takes her expertise across the province, leading software and cloud training for employees in each of RSM’s three Alberta offices.
