Three Alberta firms join RSM Canada

RSM, the leading global provider of audit, tax and consulting services focused on the middle market, is pleased to announce that three leading Alberta firms from Calgary, Red Deer and Edmonton are joining forces with RSM Canada. RSM Canada will acquire substantially all their assets, with the transactions expected to close by early November 2018, pending final regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.

The transactions establish RSM Canada’s presence in Alberta and Western Canada, with offices in the three locations, and a team that includes a combined total of 29 partners and more than 200 professionals, who serve nearly 11,000 clients in Alberta and beyond.

The transactions are part of RSM Canada’s overarching strategy that eyes expansion beyond Toronto and Alberta to key markets across Canada, with RSM Canada offices in major metropolitan areas and a robust alliance of firms in other markets to support client needs.

RSM Canada encompasses RSM Canada LLP, the Canadian member of the RSM International network providing audit and tax services, and RSM Canada Consulting LP, a consulting services firm established by RSM Canada and RSM US. RSM Canada Consulting LP brings expanded consulting services, such as technology and management consulting, security, privacy and risk, financial advisory, transaction and merger and acquisition advisory, to clients in Alberta.
