Jean-Charles Plante joins litigation and valuation services in Ottawa

Toronto, ON – RSM Canada is pleased to announce that Jean-Charles (JC) Plante has joined the firm’s litigation and valuation services as a vice president. As a CPA, CA designated specialist in investigative and forensic accounting (CPA, CA • IFA), a certified fraud examiner (CFE), and with certification in financial forensics (CFF), Plante will provide forensic accounting, fraud risk assessments and loss quantification services to middle market businesses impacted by expropriations, commercial disputes and commercial insurance claims. He also assists legal counsel in quantifying damages in personal injury litigation.

Located in Ottawa, Plante will work closely with RSM’s service teams in Toronto and the United States to bring clients the full breadth of RSM Canada’s services.

Prior to joining RSM Canada, Plante worked in the forensic and valuation services teams at various national accounting firms. He has spoken on issues surrounding fraud, commercial disputes, insurance claims and personal injury at several conferences, and provided litigation support on matters before several federal and provincial courts in Canada.
