RSM’s dedicated family office practice includes 800-plus professionals across the assurance, tax and consulting lines of business and is focused on delivering value and a holistic perspective across the family enterprise—including the family office, its operating businesses and investment structures.

RSM partnered with Cornell University and its SC Johnson College of Business to co-develop the RSM Family Office Institute (Institute) to deepen our family office knowledge and capabilities. The Institute offers a 2.5-year curriculum of directed study and in-field experiences designed to equip senior-level RSM professionals with the skills needed to deliver unparalleled extensive knowledge and solutions—and to build trusted long-term, multigenerational relationships with family office clients.

“The RSM Family Office Institute is helping inform how our family office-focused services are designed and delivered,” said Tony Wood, RSM’s family office global leader. “Our clients want to be served holistically, and so we emphasize helping our RSM participants contextualize their strong technical backgrounds to serve families in a very integrated fashion and enrich the client experience.”

RSM cohorts continue to convene at Cornell’s Roosevelt Island campus to continue their respective development journeys. The program, taught by Cornell faculty, combines in-person and virtual learning.
