Sudhir Kondisetty is technology risk consulting principal and national consulting leader for IT risk services at RSM US LLP. He is the firm’s Philadelphia office leader and a member of RSM’s board of directors.
In his role as leader for national IT risk services, Sudhir oversees the development of IT risk services focused on supporting clients’ third line of internal audit defense. This includes services such as IT risk assessments, IT internal audits and management’s SOX audits. He oversees the development of IT audit methodologies, thought leadership development, training programs and more. In addition, he leads integration efforts in providing IT controls testing support for RSM’s assurance practice
As a partner and member of RSM’s board of directors, Sudhir’s perspective on risk management is vital to the firm. He chairs RSM’s risk oversight committee and established a regular reporting process to create communication channels between internal groups to help identify changes in infrastructure and cyber threats.
Sudhir’s extensive background in technology is focused on IT infrastructure with a specialty in security and risk consulting. His experience in all aspects of the IT function provides him with a holistic view when it comes to client-side operations, implementation, and management. His insight into technology risk is valued by clients and helps them build practical solutions to protect their financial and data security interests.
A lifelong learner and NPR listener, Sudhir lives by the motto “always be learning.” He comes from an immigrant family who sacrificed greatly to come to America. Because of their sacrifice, he holds himself to a high standard and always strives for excellence in his work. Whether it’s an IT infrastructure project or the creation of a backyard organic garden, Sudhir conducts extensive research and planning before planting the first seed. He enjoys passing his knowledge on to younger colleagues at RSM as a mentor and takes great pride in watching teammates evolve from entry-level auditors to partners.
Prior to his current role, Sudhir was the Northeast regional leader for culture and diversity within RSM. He spearheaded a grassroots effort supporting leaders of employee network groups on ideas for sharing best practices, requesting funds, and proposing ideas for programming. His strong sense of stewardship drives him to help make RSM the best firm that it can be now and into the future.
