RSM careers

Meet Alyssa Juris, a senior associate on RSM US LLP’s product strategy and demand acceleration team. She has found purpose beyond her professional role through a deep commitment to community service, especially through Girls on the Run, a nonprofit that first shaped her as a young athlete and now inspires her to empower the next generation through physical activity, mentorship and emotional wellness.

In her own words:

The inspiration behind my community service

Growing up, I was lucky to be surrounded by strong mentors—women who shaped my journey and inspired me to give back. I participated in Girls on the Run and that early experience planted a seed. The program gave me confidence, community and a love for movement that still influences who I am today.

Years later, I’ve come full circle. Over the past three years, I’ve volunteered as a coach and board member, helping to launch a young professionals board, organize events and educate others on how they can support the program.

The power of the RSM US Foundation

Through its various programs, the RSM US Foundation has helped me grow as a leader, boosting my confidence and expanding my skills beyond my day-to-day role. The following programs have supported my efforts:

Community Impact Fund

Through this program, I received a $5,000 grant to support the Girls on the Run year-end 5K race. The firm's strong support through this grant enabled us to host our first-ever 5K race for the community, further empowering our mission and expanding our reach.

Power of Love

With support from RSM’s Power of Love program, I had the opportunity to champion a community that means so much to me. Together, we raised over $32,000 to directly support Girls on the Run programs in my local area.

Dollars for Doers

Through RSM’s Dollars for Doers program, I log my volunteer hours as both a coach and event organizer for Girls on the Run, resulting in over $8,000 in matched grants over the past three years. It’s incredibly rewarding to know that the time I give is matched by support from RSM, amplifying my impact and fueling the mission of Girls on the Run.

Where passion meets purpose

At RSM, I’ve found a community that supports not just the work I do, but who I am beyond the office. Sharing my involvement with Girls on the Run has opened the door to meaningful conversations, deeper connections and even inspired others to explore their own passions. That kind of encouragement and shared purpose is what makes RSM special; it’s a place where values aren’t just accepted, they’re celebrated.
