Zach Johnson

PGA TOUR Player

About Zach

From humble Iowa beginnings and proving himself on mini-tours, Zach Johnson has become known as one of golf’s best and most consistent players over the last decade. While his maiden PGA TOUR victory came at the 2004 BellSouth Classic, Johnson became a household name at the 2007 Masters Tournament when he outdueled Tiger Woods at the Augusta National to capture the green jacket and his first major victory. That win served as a launching pad for Johnson to become one of golf’s most recognizable faces. Now a 12-time PGA TOUR winner and a member of four Ryder Cup and four Presidents Cup teams, Johnson has validated his reputation as the standard-bearer of consistency on the PGA TOUR. In 2015, Johnson outlasted the field and weather to win The Open Championship at St. Andrews. The historic victory placed Johnson in rarified air, not only in becoming a multiple-time major champion but in doing so at the sport’s most iconic venues. Recognized as one of the game’s consummate professionals, Johnson’s accomplishments on the course are matched by his stewardship off the course. In July 2010, Zach and his wife Kim founded the Zach Johnson Foundation, which benefits children in need in his hometown of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Among its numerous programs that benefit Cedar Rapids area schools, the Foundation hosts the Zach Johnson Foundation Classic, an annual charity tournament featuring PGA TOUR players and local celebrities who serve as a hallmark for the Foundation's mission.
