Kyle Westmoreland, a native of Houston, Texas, spent over five years on active duty in the U.S. Air Force after graduating from the Air Force Academy, reaching the rank of Captain. During that time, he balanced service with golf, winning four college tournaments, earning All-American honors, and being named the Academy’s Male Athlete of the Year.
After completing his service in 2019, Westmoreland turned to professional golf full-time, earning a PGA TOUR card for the 2022–23 season after strong performances on the Korn Ferry Tour. He also made history at the 2021 U.S. Open, becoming the first Air Force Academy graduate to both play in and make the cut at a major championship.
