About Clara

Clara Pham has over 10 years of experience with domestic and international corporate income tax consulting. She is a leading technical tax resource for complex tax structuring, operations and management communications for RSM Canada.


Experience

Clara has extensive experience with international tax planning, strategy, compliance and transactional structuring. She is skilled in advising clients through complex corporate restructurings, and she is driven to help clients’ tax structures through acquisitions and integrations. Clara has successfully led clients through redesigns of corporate tax models, and she has facilitated productive communications across management departments.

Clara specializes in corporate tax models, forecasting, cross-border tax, transaction documents and proposals, international tax compliance—including tax provision, employee compensation, shareholder distributions, risk management standards and regulations—as well as communications and negotiations with tax authorities.

As leader of the Canada national tax office, Clara is a prolific tax thought leadership author and frequent speaker at industry conferences, and she often facilitates topical seminars. She draws on her experience as a lawyer to bring curiosity and open-mindedness when helping clients navigate complex situations, helping to align their needs, goals and future visions.
