My career with RSM Canada began when I joined one of RSM’s predecessor firms in September 2008 after graduating from the University of Calgary. I wanted a more entrepreneurial experience versus a big company “corporate” experience. Joining a midmarket firm early in my career exposed me to a diverse client base and presented a wide range of opportunities.
I started as an assurance associate during my early years at the predecessor firm, moved to assurance senior and eventually became a manager. As I began to work more closely with owner-managed businesses in business tax, the primary responsibility was to help clients maximize their wealth, minimize their tax liabilities and assist with meeting their financing requirements.
