RSM expands security privacy and risk practice with two new partners
RSM Canada – a leading provider of audit, tax and consulting services focused on the middle market – is pleased to announce that Ryan Duquette and Jason Green have recently joined the firm as partners, expanding the firm’s Security, Privacy and Risk (SPR) practice.
Duquette and Green both specialize in cybersecurity and digital forensics. They come to RSM Canada from Hexigent Consulting, a leading Ontario-based cybersecurity and digital forensics consulting business founded by Duquette in 2011. While running Hexigent, Duquette and Green worked with clients in a variety of industries to help them manage risk and protect their businesses.
“Cybersecurity is increasingly becoming a critical priority for Canadian businesses of all sizes and across all industries,” said Harry Blum, national managing partner, RSM Canada. “With Ryan and Jason’s arrival, RSM Canada is able to enhance our offerings and provide cutting-edge strategy and tactical solutions to businesses looking to either respond to or protect themselves from cyber-related risks.”
Before launching Hexigent, Duquette worked in law enforcement, giving him broad experience in all facets of digital forensics. He specialized in criminal and civil investigations and has extensive experience as an expert witness in the Ontario Court of Justice. He is a published author, a regular speaker at international conferences and a lecturer and instructor at policing agencies, police colleges and other post-secondary institutions.
Green brings more than 30 years of experience to his role at RSM Canada. In addition to his work as a principal at Hexigent, he has also worked for several professional services firms, where he worked in technology advisory consulting, cyber resilience and incident response. Green also worked as a corporate and fraud investigator for several Canadian and U.K.-based companies, and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and a Certified Anti-Terrorism Specialist (CAS).
Duquette and Green will continue working out of their current office in Oakville, Ont., where they previously operated as Hexigent and have a specialized security lab.
