Summary of Experience
Alex Kotsopoulos is a vice president, projects and economics and the national government, health care and education industry leader at RSM Canada. Alex specializes in helping clients evaluate and assess projects from a financial and broader macroeconomic and social perspective. He has evaluated projects worth several billions of dollars that range infrastructure classes and types in Canada, the US and in South America. Many of the projects Alex has led have been used to support discussions with government stakeholders regarding funding. As a result, he has gained a strong understanding of the public sector, which he has leveraged extensively on the over 70 consulting projects Alex has directed, managed or been involved in as an analyst. Prior to joining, Alex worked at HDR Corporation where he led their Toronto economics practice and prior to that he helped establish an economics and statistics practice at an international firm. Alex has Master’s degree in economics from Wilfrid Laurier University. He also completed the globally recognized and rigorous CFA® Program.
