Patisserie Monaco Inc.
Toronto, December 10, 2014 – On November 6, 2014, Patisserie Monaco Inc. (“PMI”) filed a Notice of Intention to Make a Proposal (the “NOI”) pursuant to S. 50.4(1) of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act with the intent of making a proposal to its creditors. No proposal was filed within the 30 day period from the date of filing the NOI, and on December 7, 2014, PMI was deemed bankrupt. A Certificate of Assignment was issued by the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy and a trustee in bankruptcy of the estate was appointed, subject to affirmation or substitution at the first meeting of creditors. A copy of the Certificate of Assignment is posted below.
A Notice of Bankruptcy and First Meeting of Creditors with a proof of claim form will be mailed to known creditors of PMI. Copies of these documents and other information in these proceedings will be posted on this site as they become available.
